And March madness begins. But where is The New Jersey Institue of Technology. They're not seeded, not ranked, not even on the radar. If you don't know NJIT (which I am an alumnus of)moved up to Division 1 last year. Had a great start, they won their first D1 game against Manhattan. Won a few more games last year. Then............D1 season 2...............0-29. New NCAA record for losses in a season. Pretty rough. 0 and freakin' 29. Most games were blowouts this season, a lot of games losses by double the points. No tournament this year. Actually they couldn't make the tournament anyway, they're on D1 entry probation for a few years. But still. Win one just one and you're not the laughing stock of the nation.
I look at my friends who have gone to bigger schools with more successful athletic programs and think maybe that could be NJIT. 0 and freakin' 29, come on.
